Email Templates for Developers
Professional transactional, authentication, and notification email templates with live placeholder interpolation.
Choose and customize an email template
Find reusable copy for common application emails, including account and transactional messages. Search by subject or template name, then switch between plain-text and HTML versions to match your mail-delivery setup.
Replace sample variables with values from your application and review links, recipient details and fallback text before sending. Preview the HTML version in your email workflow because rendering can differ across mail clients.

Email templates for common account and order events
Choose copy that matches the event, rather than sending one generic email for every account action. Welcome emails explain what a new user can do next. Account-verification messages should identify the account action and link to a verification step. Password-reset emails should use a short-lived reset link, explain what to do if the recipient did not request it, and never include the current or a new password.
For commerce workflows, an order confirmation can summarize the order ID, items, amount, and a link to order details. A payment notice should distinguish a successful charge from a pending or failed attempt and avoid claiming success until the payment system confirms it. Notification emails can cover shipping, subscription changes, appointments, support updates, or account activity; include only details the recipient needs to understand the event.
HTML and plain-text versions
HTML supports headings, links, and a branded layout; plain text remains readable when HTML is unavailable or disabled. When your mail platform supports it, send both versions as alternatives and keep the essential information and action consistent. Do not make an image the only place where a critical instruction appears.
Placeholders, accessibility, and client checks
Replace every sample placeholder with recipient-specific data and define a safe fallback for optional values. Escape inserted values before placing them in HTML, and validate generated URLs rather than accepting arbitrary user input. Use a logical heading order, descriptive link text, meaningful alt text, readable contrast, and a layout that still works on a narrow screen. Email clients can render CSS differently, so preview the message in the clients your audience uses, with images off and dark mode where relevant. Verify the subject, sender, links, and plain-text fallback before sending.
