Compare city times for meetings and support handoffs
This World Clock shows the current time for a curated set of cities using the time-zone identifiers supplied to the browser’s Intl.DateTimeFormat API. It is useful when coordinating a call across offices, checking whether a support handoff falls outside local business hours, or seeing whether a date has already changed in another region.
Find and compare a location
- Search for a city, country, or zone such as
Asia/Kolkata, or choose a region tab to narrow the list. - Compare the displayed local time, date, and current UTC offset. Use the sort menu to group cities by name, offset, or current time.
- Switch between 24-hour and 12-hour display to match the format your team uses. The local-time banner identifies the time zone detected by your browser.
UTC offsets and seasonal clock changes
A UTC offset tells you how far a location’s current civil time is from UTC. It is not always fixed: places that observe Daylight Saving Time may change offset during the year, and neighboring locations can follow different rules. This page calculates the offset for the current moment. Use a named zone such as America/New_York when documenting schedules instead of assuming a permanent offset like UTC−5.
Know what the display does not predict
The clocks show now; they do not convert a selected future meeting time or check a city’s work calendar. DST rules can change when governments update them, so confirm an important future appointment with the calendar or scheduling system you will use. The Day/Night badge is a simple local-hour indicator (06:00–17:59), not a sunrise or sunset calculation. The city list is curated and does not include every place or regional exception.
